'Perfection' in the Bible
From Zion, the perfection of beauty,God appears in radiance.
I have seen a limit to all perfection,but Your command is without limit.
ס SamekAll who pass byscornfully clap their hands at you.They mock and shake their headsat Daughter Jerusalem:Is this the city that was calledthe perfection of beauty,the joy of the whole earth?
“Son of man, lament for the king of Tyre and say to him: This is what the Lord God says:You were the seal of perfection,full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
If then, perfection came through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there for another priest to appear, said to be in the order of Melchizedek and not in the order of Aaron?
There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. So the one who fears has not reached perfection in love.
