'Pierced' in the Bible
“She reached out her [left] hand for the tent peg,And her right hand for the workmen’s hammer.Then she struck Sisera, she smashed his head;And she shattered and pierced his temple.
“By His breath the heavens are cleared;His hand has pierced the [swiftly] fleeing serpent.
“My bones are pierced [with aching] in the night season,And the pains that gnaw me take no rest.
For [a pack of] dogs have surrounded me;A gang of evildoers has encircled me,They pierced my hands and my feet.
Awake, awake, put on strength and might, O arm of the Lord;Awake as in the ancient days, as in the generations of long ago.Was it not You who cut Rahab (Egypt) in pieces,Who pierced the dragon [of Egypt]?

And they will look at Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him as one who weeps bitterly over a firstborn.
