'Possessed' in the Bible

and the younger of them said to his father, Father, give to me the share of the property that falls to me. And he divided to them what he was possessed of.

The crowd answered, "You're possessed by a demon! Who is trying to kill you?"

The Judeans replied, "Aren't we correct in saying that you are a Samaritan and are possessed by a demon?"

Jesus answered, "I am not possessed by a demon, but I honor my Father -- and yet you dishonor me.

So Moses was educated in all the learning of the Egyptians, and possessed great influence through his eloquence and his achievements.
