'Rebellion' in the Bible

Where will you be stricken again,As you continue in your rebellion?The whole head is sickAnd the whole heart is faint.

The earth staggers like a drunkardand sways like a hut.Earth’s rebellion weighs it down,and it falls, never to rise again.

For it [is] a people of rebellion, deceitful children, children [who are] not willing to hear the instruction of Yahweh,

Turn back to [the one against] whom the sons of Israel have made deep rebellion.

He was taken away because of oppression and judgment;and who considered His fate?For He was cut off from the land of the living;He was struck because of my people’s rebellion.

“Against whom do you jest?Against whom do you open wide your mouthAnd stick out your tongue?Are you not children of rebellion,Offspring of deceit,

We have rebelled and tried to deceive the Lord; we turned back from following our God. We stir up oppression and rebellion; we tell lies we concocted in our minds.
