'Record' in the Bible
This is what the Lord says:Record this man as childless,a man who will not be successful in his lifetime.None of his descendants will succeedin sitting on the throne of Davidor ruling again in Judah.
What follows is a record of what happened to Jerusalem and Judah because of the Lord's anger when he drove them out of his sight. Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
Here is the official record of the number of people Nebuchadnezzar carried into exile: In the seventh year, 3,023 Jews;
"And it will be my hand against the prophets who [are] seeing falseness and who [are] practicing lying divination. The following is a record of what Amos prophesied. He was one of the herdsmen from Tekoa. These prophecies about Israel were revealed to him during the time of King Uzziah of Judah and King Jeroboam son of Joash of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
A pronouncement about Nineveh: The record of the vision of Nahum from Elkosh.
He takes the record of his great men: they go falling on their way; they go quickly to the wall, the cover is made ready.
Then the Lord answered me and said,“Record the visionAnd inscribe it on tablets,That the one who reads it may run.

‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold (invigorating, refreshing) nor hot (healing, therapeutic); I wish that you were cold or hot.
And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true [they are accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy].”
