'Relies' in the Bible

For the king relies on the Lord;through the faithful love of the Most Highhe is not shaken.

“He relies on the Lord;let Him rescue him;let the Lord deliver him,since He takes pleasure in him.”

The Lord is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield;My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped;Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,And with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him.

Many are the sorrows of the wicked,But he who trusts in and relies on the Lord shall be surrounded with compassion and lovingkindness.

“Because he set his love on Me, therefore I will save him;I will set him [securely] on high, because he knows My name [he confidently trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never abandon him, no, never].

Those who make idols are like them [absolutely worthless—spiritually blind, deaf, and powerless];So is everyone who trusts in and relies on them.
