'Retreat' in the Bible

“I will cause the people ahead of you to feel terror and throw into confusion all the nations you come to. I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you in retreat.

You have made my enemies retreat before me;I annihilate those who hate me.

When my enemies retreat,they stumble and perish before You.

You have made my enemies retreat before me;I annihilate those who hate me.

You make us retreat from the foe,and those who hate ushave taken plunder for themselves.

Then my enemies will retreat on the day when I call.This I know: God is for me.

Let those who say, “Aha, aha!”retreat because of their shame.

a lion, which is mightiest among beastsand doesn’t retreat before anything,
