If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

For twelve years they were under the rule of Chedorlaomer, but in the thirteenth year they put off his control.

“Are you really going to reign over us?” his brothers asked him. “Are you really going to rule us?” So they hated him even more because of his dream and what he had said.

And the anointed priest [taking] his place from [among] his sons must do it. [As] a lasting rule, it must be turned into smoke totally for Yahweh.

because I have taken the wave offering's breast section and the contribution [offering's] upper thigh from the {Israelites} out of their fellowship offerings' sacrifices, and I have given them to Aaron the priest and his sons from the {Israelites} [as] a lasting rule.'"

They must bring the thigh of the contribution [offering] and the breast section of the wave offering in addition to the offerings made by fire, [consisting] of the fat portions, to wave as a wave offering {before} Yahweh; and it will be for you and for your sons with you as a lasting rule, [just] as Yahweh had commanded."

And you may take no bread or dry grain or new grain for food till the very day on which you have given the offering for your God: this is a rule for ever through all your generations wherever you are living

And on the same day, let it be given out that there will be a holy meeting for you: you may do no field-work on that day: it is a rule for ever through all your generations wherever you are living

And let this feast be kept before the Lord for seven days in the year: it is a rule for ever from generation to generation; in the seventh month let it be kept.

Outside the veil of the ark in the Tent of meeting; let Aaron see that it is burning from evening till morning at all times before the Lord: it is a rule for ever through all your generations.

It belongs to Aaron and his sons, who are to eat it in a holy place, for it is the holiest portion for him from the fire offerings to the Lord; this is a permanent rule.”

These were the chief of the officers that were over Solomon's work, five hundred and fifty, which bare rule over the people that wrought in the work.

I will select you; you will rule over all you desire to have and you will be king over Israel.

During Jehoram's lifetime, Edom rebelled from Judah's hegemony and appointed a king to rule over themselves.

So Edom revolted against Judah to this day. Then Libnah revolted at the same time.
