'Sandals' in the Bible

John answered all, saying, I indeed baptise you with water, but the mightier than I is coming, the thong of whose sandals I am not fit to unloose; he shall baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire;

Carry neither purse nor scrip nor sandals, and salute no one on the way.

But the father said to his bondmen, Bring out the best robe and clothe him in it, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet;

And he said to them, When I sent you without purse and scrip and sandals, did ye lack anything? And they said, Nothing.
