'Shore' in the Bible

He saw two boats lying on the shore, but the fishermen had stepped out of them and were washing their nets.
So Jesus got into one of the boats (the one that belonged to Simon) and asked him to push out a little from the shore. Then he sat down and began to teach the crowds from the boat.
Then Jesus told Simon, "Stop being afraid. From now on you will be catching people." So when they brought the boats to shore, they left everything and followed Jesus.
When Jesus stepped out on the shore, a man from the city met him. This man was controlled by demons and had not worn clothes for a long time. He did not live in a house but in the tombs.
Just as dawn was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore. The disciples didn't realize it was Jesus.
But the other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish. They were only about 200 cubits away from the shore.
When they arrived at the shore, they saw a charcoal fire with fish lying on it, and some bread.
When a gentle breeze began to blow from the south, they thought they could make it to Phoenix, so they hoisted anchor and began sailing along the shore of Crete.
The rest were to follow, some on planks and others on various pieces of the ship. In this way everyone got to shore safely.
