'Takes' in the Bible
"When they sin against you because there isn't a single human being who doesn't sin and you become angry with them and deliver them over to their enemy, who takes them away captive to a land that's near or far away,
saying:Naked I came from my mother’s womb,and naked I will leave this life.The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away.Praise the name of Yahweh.
By the breath of God destruction takes them, and by the wind of his wrath they are cut off.
Between morning and evening they are completely broken; they come to an end for ever, and no one takes note.
Now his children have no safe place, and they are crushed before the judges, for no one takes up their cause.
whose harvest [the] hungry eats, and he takes it {from behind} [the] thorns; and [the] thirsty pants after their wealth.
He takes the wise in their own craftiness; the counsel of the cunning is carried headlong.
He leans against his house but it does not hold up, he takes hold of it but it does not stand.
It is he who takes away the mountains without their knowledge, overturning them in his wrath:
For in his eyes men are as nothing; he sees evil and takes note of it.
He takes away the wisdom of the wise guides, and makes judges foolish;
He deprives trusted advisers of speechand takes away the elders’ good judgment.
He puts shame on chiefs, and takes away the power of the strong;
“He removes intelligence and understanding from the leaders of the people of the earthAnd makes them wander and move blindly in a pathless waste.
If death takes a man, will he come to life again? All the days of my trouble I would be waiting, till the time came for me to be free.
How much less one who is disgusting and unclean, a man who takes in evil like water!
He does not come out of the dark; his branches are burned by the flame, and the wind takes away his bud.
A trap seizes [him] by [the] heel; a snare takes hold of him.
Truly, I make an outcry against the violent man, but there is no answer: I give a cry for help, but no one takes up my cause.
Though he takes care of it, and does not let it go, but keeps it still in his mouth;
He takes down wealth as food, and sends it up again; it is forced out of his stomach by God.
He takes the poison of snakes into his mouth, the tongue of the snake is the cause of his death.
“Even when I remember, I am disturbed,And horror takes hold of my flesh.
The drought as well as the heat carry away the melted snow; so the grave takes away those who have sinned.
He takes away his fear of danger and gives him support; and his eyes are on his ways.
For what hope does the godless man have when he is cut off,when God takes away his life?
Fears overtake him like rushing waters; in the night the storm-wind takes him away.
The east wind takes him up and he is gone; he is forced violently out of his place.
With great force he takes a grip of my clothing, pulling me by the neck of my coat.
Indeed, he says, 'A man does not profit when he takes delight in God.'
“Therefore He knows of their works,And He overthrows them in the night,So that they are crushed and destroyed.
For he takes up the drops from the sea; he sends them through his mist as rain,
He takes the light in his hands, sending it against the mark.
The earth takes shape like clay under a seal; its features are dyed like a garment.
Leaping in his excitement, he takes in the ground; he cannot stand still when the trumpets sound!
Is it through your knowledge that the hawk takes his flight, stretching out his wings to the south?
See now the Great Beast, whom I made, even as I made you; he takes grass for food, like the ox.
He takes the produce of the mountains, where all the beasts of the field are at play.
He takes his rest under the trees of the river, and in the pool, under the shade of the water-plants.
The evil-doers are not so; but are like the dust from the grain, which the wind takes away.

He does not slander with his tongue,Nor does evil to his neighbor,Nor takes up a reproach against his friend;
In his eyes a rejected one [is] contemptible, but he honors those who respect Yahweh. He takes an oath to [his own] injury and does not retract it.
Because of this my heart is glad, and my glory is full of joy: while my flesh takes its rest in hope.
He brought me out to a spacious place; he delivered me, for in me he takes delight.
For the music director; a psalm of David. O Lord, the king rejoices in the strength you give; he takes great delight in the deliverance you provide.
“He relies on the Lord;let Him rescue him;let the Lord deliver him,since He takes pleasure in him.”
The Lord takes care of me as his sheep; I will not be without any good thing.
He takes me to lush pastures, he leads me to refreshing water.
He is the one who forms every human heart, and takes note of all their actions.
Look, the Lord takes notice of his loyal followers, those who wait for him to demonstrate his faithfulness
Taste and see that the Lord is good.How happy is the man who takes refuge in Him!
The cry of the upright comes before the Lord, and he takes them out of all their troubles.

For he takes comfort in the thought that his sin will not be uncovered and hated.

But the king will rejoice in God; everyone who takes oaths in his name will boast, for the mouths of those who speak lies will be shut up.
For the ears of the Lord are open to the poor, and he takes thought for his prisoners.
God takes his stand in the divine assembly; among the divine beings he renders judgment:
Or of the disease which takes men in the dark, or of the destruction which makes waste when the sun is high.
Who stands up for me against the wicked?Who takes a stand for me against evildoers?
You who are lovers of the Lord, be haters of evil; he keeps the souls of his saints; he takes them out of the hand of sinners.
He has forgiveness for all your sins; he takes away all your diseases;
Then they are glad, because the sea is quiet, and he takes them to the harbour of their desire.
Praise the Lord! How blessed is the one who obeys the Lord, who takes great delight in keeping his commands.

Men do not have a low opinion of a thief who takes food when he is in need of it:
He who takes another man's wife is without all sense: he who does it is the cause of destruction to his soul.
For jealousy enrages a husband,and he will show no mercy when he takes revenge.
Passing through the street near her corner;And he takes the way to her house,
At the heights overlooking the road,at the crossroads, she takes her stand.
He who in summer gets together his store is a son who does wisely; but he who takes his rest when the grain is being cut is a son causing shame.
He who walks in integrity and with moral character walks securely,But he who takes a crooked way will be discovered and punished.
He who takes note of teaching is a way of life, but he who gives up training is a cause of error.
It is sport to the foolish man to do evil, but the man of good sense takes delight in wisdom.
The righteous is delivered from trouble,But the wicked takes his place.

In the sin of the lips is a net which takes the sinner, but the upright man will come out of trouble.
