'Village' in the Bible
One day, as Jesus was teaching, some Pharisees and teachers of the Law happened to be sitting nearby. The people had come from every village in Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was present to heal them.
After this, Jesus traveled from one city and village to another, preaching and spreading the good news about God's kingdom. The Twelve were with him,
So they left and went from village to village, spreading the good news and healing diseases everywhere.
So he sent messengers on ahead of him. On their way they went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for him.
and they all went on to another village.
Now as they were traveling along, Jesus went into a village. A woman named Martha welcomed him into her home.
Then Jesus taught in one town and village after another as he made his way to Jerusalem.
As he was going into a village, ten lepers met him. They stood at a distance
"Go into the village ahead of you," he said. "As you enter, you will find a colt tied up that no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it along.
On the same day, two of Jesus' followers were walking to a village called Emmaus, about 60 stadia from Jerusalem.
As they came near the village where the two men were headed, Jesus acted as though he were going farther.
