'Warriors' in the Bible

Their quiver is like an open grave;they are all mighty warriors.

King Jehoiakim, all his warriors, and all the officials heard his words, and the king tried to put him to death. When Uriah heard, he fled in fear and went to Egypt.

The officials then said to the king, “This man ought to die, because he is weakening the morale of the warriors who remain in this city and of all the people by speaking to them in this way. This man is not seeking the well-being of this people, but disaster.”

Why am I seeing this? They're terrified, they have turned back. Their warriors are crushed, and they take flight. They don't look back. Terror is on every side," declares the LORD.

Rise up, you cavalry!Race furiously, you chariots!Let the warriors go out—Cush and Put,who are able to handle shields,and the Ludim,who are able to handle and string the bow.

Why are your warriors prostrate? They don't stand because the LORD has brought them down.

How can you say, “We are warriors—mighty men ready for battle”?

The towns have been captured,and the strongholds seized.In that day the heart of Moab’s warriorswill be like the heart of a woman with contractions.

Look! It will be like an eagle soaring upward, then swooping down and spreading its wings over Bozrah. In that day the hearts of Edom’s warriors will be like the heart of a woman with contractions.

A sword is against the diviners,and they will act foolishly.A sword is against her heroic warriors,and they will be terrified.

Babylon’s warriors have stopped fighting;they sit in their strongholds.Their might is exhausted;they have become like women.Babylon’s homes have been set ablaze,her gate bars are shattered.

for a destroyer is coming against her,against Babylon.Her warriors will be captured,their bows shattered,for the Lord is a God of retribution;He will certainly repay.

I'll make their leaders, their wise men, their governors, their deputies, and their warriors drunk so that they sleep forever and don't wake up," declares the King whose name is the LORD of the Heavenly Armies.
