'Word' in the Bible
“Go, inquire of the Lord for me and for those who are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book which has been found; for great is the wrath of the Lord which is poured out on us because our fathers have not observed the word of the Lord, to do according to all that is written in this book.”
Behold, I will gather you to your fathers and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace, so your eyes will not see all the evil which I will bring on this place and on its inhabitants.”’” And they brought back word to the king.

This word pleased the king and the princes, and the king did as Memucan proposed.
Now when the king returned from the palace garden into the place where they were drinking wine, Haman was falling on the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, “Will he even assault the queen with me in the house?” As the word went out of the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.
Then they sat down on the ground with him for seven days and seven nights with no one speaking a word to him, for they saw that his pain was very great.
“If one ventures a word with you, will you become impatient?But who can refrain from speaking?

As for the deeds of men, by the word of Your lipsI have kept from the paths of the violent.
As for God, His way is blameless;The word of the Lord is tried;He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.
For the word of the Lord is upright,And all His work is done in faithfulness.
By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,And by the breath of His mouth all their host.
In God, whose word I praise,In God I have put my trust;I shall not be afraid.What can mere man do to me?
Bless the Lord, you His angels,Mighty in strength, who perform His word,Obeying the voice of His word!
He has remembered His covenant forever,The word which He commanded to a thousand generations,
Until the time that his word came to pass,The word of the Lord tested him.
For He remembered His holy wordWith Abraham His servant;
Then they despised the pleasant land;They did not believe in His word,
He sent His word and healed them,And delivered them from their destructions.
Beth.How can a young man keep his way pure?By keeping it according to Your word.
Your word I have treasured in my heart,That I may not sin against You.
I shall delight in Your statutes;I shall not forget Your word.
Gimel.Deal bountifully with Your servant,That I may live and keep Your word.
Daleth.My soul cleaves to the dust;Revive me according to Your word.
My soul weeps because of grief;Strengthen me according to Your word.
Establish Your word to Your servant,As that which produces reverence for You.
Vav.May Your lovingkindnesses also come to me, O Lord,Your salvation according to Your word;
So I will have an answer for him who reproaches me,For I trust in Your word.
And do not take the word of truth utterly out of my mouth,For I wait for Your ordinances.
Zayin.Remember the word to Your servant,In which You have made me hope.
This is my comfort in my affliction,That Your word has revived me.
I sought Your favor with all my heart;Be gracious to me according to Your word.
Teth.You have dealt well with Your servant,O Lord, according to Your word.
Before I was afflicted I went astray,But now I keep Your word.
May those who fear You see me and be glad,Because I wait for Your word.
O may Your lovingkindness comfort me,According to Your word to Your servant.
Kaph.My soul languishes for Your salvation;I wait for Your word.
My eyes fail with longing for Your word,While I say, “When will You comfort me?”
Lamedh.Forever, O Lord,Your word is settled in heaven.
I have restrained my feet from every evil way,That I may keep Your word.
Nun.Your word is a lamp to my feetAnd a light to my path.
I am exceedingly afflicted;Revive me, O Lord, according to Your word.
You are my hiding place and my shield;I wait for Your word.
Sustain me according to Your word, that I may live;And do not let me be ashamed of my hope.
My eyes fail with longing for Your salvationAnd for Your righteous word.
Establish my footsteps in Your word,And do not let any iniquity have dominion over me.
Your word is very pure,Therefore Your servant loves it.
My eyes anticipate the night watches,That I may meditate on Your word.
Plead my cause and redeem me;Revive me according to Your word.
I behold the treacherous and loathe them,Because they do not keep Your word.
The sum of Your word is truth,And every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting.
I rejoice at Your word,As one who finds great spoil.
Tav.Let my cry come before You, O Lord;Give me understanding according to Your word.
Let my supplication come before You;Deliver me according to Your word.
Let my tongue sing of Your word,For all Your commandments are righteousness.
I wait for the Lord, my soul does wait,And in His word do I hope.
I will bow down toward Your holy templeAnd give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth;For You have magnified Your word according to all Your name.
Even before there is a word on my tongue,Behold, O Lord, You know it all.
He sends forth His command to the earth;His word runs very swiftly.
He sends forth His word and melts them;He causes His wind to blow and the waters to flow.
Fire and hail, snow and clouds;Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down,But a good word makes it glad.
The one who despises the word will be in debt to it,But the one who fears the commandment will be rewarded.
A gentle answer turns away wrath,But a harsh word stirs up anger.
A man has joy in an apt answer,And how delightful is a timely word!
He who gives attention to the word will find good,And blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.
Like apples of gold in settings of silverIs a word spoken in right circumstances.
Every word of God is tested;He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.
Do not be hasty in word or impulsive in thought to bring up a matter in the presence of God. For God is in heaven and you are on the earth; therefore let your words be few.
Since the word of the king is authoritative, who will say to him, “What are you doing?”

To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because they have no dawn.
This is the word which the Lord spoke earlier concerning Moab.
The earth will be completely laid waste and completely despoiled, for the Lord has spoken this word.
So the word of the Lord to them will be,“Order on order, order on order,Line on line, line on line,A little here, a little there,”That they may go and stumble backward, be broken, snared and taken captive.

this is the word that the Lord has spoken against him:“She has despised you and mocked you,The virgin daughter of Zion;She has shaken her head behind you,The daughter of Jerusalem!
Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah, saying,
Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of the Lord of hosts,
Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The word of the Lord which you have spoken is good.” For he thought, “For there will be peace and truth in my days.”
The grass withers, the flower fades,But the word of our God stands forever.
Confirming the word of His servantAnd performing the purpose of His messengers.It is I who says of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be inhabited!’And of the cities of Judah, ‘They shall be built.’And I will raise up her ruins again.
