'Words' in the Bible

The words of the Lord are pure words,like silver refined in an earthen furnace,purified seven times.

There is no speech; there are no words;their voice is not heard.

Their message has gone out to all the earth,and their words to the ends of the world.In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun.

May the words of my mouthand the meditation of my heartbe acceptable to You,Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.

The words of his mouth are malicious and deceptive;he has stopped acting wisely and doing good.

This is the way of those who are arrogant,and of their followers,who approve of their words.Selah

You hate instructionand turn your back on My words.

You love any words that destroy,you treacherous tongue!

God, hear my prayer;listen to the words of my mouth.

His buttery words are smooth,but war is in his heart.His words are softer than oil,but they are drawn swords.

They twist my words all day long;all their thoughts against me are evil.

Look, they spew from their mouths—sharp words from their lips.“For who,” they say, “will hear?”

who sharpen their tongues like swordsand aim bitter words like arrows,

They pour out arrogant words;all the evildoers boast.

They surround me with hateful wordsand attack me without cause.

ח KhetThe Lord is my portion;I have promised to keep Your words.

The revelation of Your words brings lightand gives understanding to the inexperienced.

My anger overwhelms mebecause my foes forget Your words.

When their rulers will be thrown offthe sides of a cliff,the people will listen to my words,for they are pleasing.

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom;Your rule is for all generations.The Lord is faithful in all His wordsand gracious in all His actions.
