Yes, in those days and at that time,when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,

Moreover, what are you to Me, O Tyre and Sidon and all the [five small] regions of Philistia? Will you pay Me back for something [I have supposedly done to you]? Even if you do pay Me back, I will swiftly and speedily return your deed [of retaliation] on your own head.

Thus says Yahweh: "For three transgressions of Damascus, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron;

So that we may buy the poor [as slaves] for silver [since they are unable to support themselves]And the needy for a pair of sandals,And that we may sell the leftovers of the wheat [as if it were a good grade of grain]?”

“Because of this [coming judgment] will the land not quakeAnd everyone mourn who dwells in it?Indeed, all of it shall rise up like the Nile,And it will be tossed around [from the impact of judgment]And [afterward] subside again like the Nile of Egypt.

"Yes, look, I [am] going to command and I will shake the house of Israel among all the nations like one who shakes with a sieve, but not a pebble will fall [to the] ground.

“Do not gloat over your brother’s day,The day of his misfortune.And do not rejoice over the sons of JudahIn the day of their destruction;Yes, do not boastIn the day of their distress.

Do not enter the gate of My peoplein the day of their disaster.Yes, you—do not gloat over their miseryin the day of their disasterand do not appropriate their possessionsin the day of their disaster.

“Because just as you [Edom] drank on My holy mountain [desecrating it in the revelry of the destroyers],So shall all the nations drink continually [one by one, of My wrath];Yes, they shall drink and swallow [the full measure of punishment]And become as though they had never existed.

But both man and animal must be covered with sackcloth; and every one is to call on God earnestly and forcefully that each may turn from his wicked way and from the violence that is in his hands.

Then God asked Jonah, “Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?”“Yes,” he replied. “It is right. I’m angry enough to die!”

Yes, moreover, wine is treacherous. A haughty man who doesn't stay at home, who enlarges his desire as Sheol, and he is like death, and can't be satisfied, but gathers to himself all nations, and heaps to himself all peoples.

He stood and surveyed the earth;He looked and startled the nations.Yes, the perpetual mountains were shattered,The ancient hills collapsed.His ways are everlasting.

“Moreover, their wealth will become plunderAnd their houses desolate;Yes, they will build houses but not inhabit them,And plant vineyards but not drink their wine.”

Their silver and their goldwill not be able to rescue themon the day of the Lord’s wrath.The whole earth will be consumedby the fire of His jealousy.For He will make a complete,yes, a horrifying endof all the inhabitants of the earth.

"Gather together! Yes, indeed, gather together, you shameless nation!

Before the decree takes effect [and the time for repentance is lost]—The day passes like the chaff [whirled by the wind]—Before the burning and fierce anger of the Lord comes upon you,Before the day of the wrath of the Lord comes upon you.

Yes, at that timeI will deal with all who afflict you.I will save the lame and gather the scattered;I will make those who were disgracedthroughout the earthreceive praise and fame.

Every cooking pot in [all the houses in] Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the Lord of hosts, and all who sacrifice will come and take them and boil [their sacrifices] in them. And in that day there will no longer be a Canaanite [that is, any godless or spiritually unclean person, whether Jew or Gentile] in the house of the Lord of hosts.

If you do not listen, and if you do not take it to heart to honor My name,” says the Lord of hosts, “then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings [on the people]. Indeed, I have cursed them already, because you are not taking it to heart.

And they all said, “Are You the Son of God, then?” And He said to them, “Yes, I am.”

But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel and set our nation free. Indeed, besides all this, it is the third day since these things happened.

"Yes, it is true: the Master has come back to life. He has been seen by Simon."

But an hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. Yes, the Father wants such people to worship Him.

I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh."

Jesus therefore, while teaching in the Temple, cried aloud, and said, "Yes, you know me, and you know where I am from. And yet I have not come of my own accord; but there is One who has sent me, an Authority indeed, of whom you have no knowledge.

"So then *you* are a king!" rejoined Pilate. "Yes," said Jesus, "you say truly that I am a king. For this purpose I was born, and for this purpose I have come into the world--to give testimony for the truth. Every one who is a friend of the truth listens to my voice."

When they had eaten breakfast, Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these?”“Yes, Lord,” he said to Him, “You know that I love You.”“Feed My lambs,” He told him.

A second time He asked him, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me?”“Yes, Lord,” he said to Him, “You know that I love You.”“Shepherd My sheep,” He told him.

Even on My bond-servants, both men and women,I will in those days pour out My SpiritAnd they shall prophesy.

That is why my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices, yes, even my body still rests securely in hope.
