“What has this concern of yours to do with Me, woman?” Jesus asked. “My hour has not yet come.”

So Jesus, straightening up and seeing no one except the woman, said to her, "Where are those accusers of yours? Does no one condemn you?"

"We are descendants of Abraham," they answered, "and have never at any time been in slavery to any one. What do those words of yours mean, 'You shall become free'?"

Jesus answered and said, Not on my account has this voice come, but on yours.

Now [at last] they know [with confident assurance] that all You have given Me is from You [it is really and truly Yours].

I pray for them.I am not praying for the worldbut for those You have given Me,because they are Yours.

Everything I have is Yours,and everything You have is Mine,and I have been glorified in them.

So the saying circulated among the brothers and sisters that this disciple was not going to die. But Jesus did not say to him that he was not going to die, but rather, "If I want him to live until I come back, what concern is that of yours?"

Wasn’t it yours while you possessed it? And after it was sold, wasn’t it at your disposal? Why is it that you planned this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God!”

Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that the intent of your heart may be forgiven you.
