'Yourself' in the Bible
Shake yourself from the dust and arise, and sit on your throne, O Jerusalem! Loosen the bonds from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

If your gift is serving, devote yourself to serving others. If it is teaching, devote yourself to teaching others.
If it is encouraging, devote yourself to encouraging others. If it is sharing, share generously. If it is leading, lead enthusiastically. If it is helping, help cheerfully.
For the commandments, "You must not commit adultery; you must not murder; you must not steal; you must not covet," and every other commandment are summed up in this statement: "You must love your neighbor as yourself."
For the whole Law is summarized in a single statement: "You must love your neighbor as yourself."
Brothers, if a person is caught doing something wrong, those of you who are spiritual should restore that person gently. Watch out for yourself so that you are not tempted as well.
Do not have anything to do with godless myths and fables of old women. Instead, train yourself to be godly.
Pay close attention to your life and your teaching. Persevere in these things, because if you do so, you will save both yourself and those who listen to you.
Do not ordain anyone hastily. Do not participate in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.
Do your best to present yourself to God as an approved worker who has nothing to be ashamed of, handling the word of truth with precision.
But you must be clear-headed about everything. Endure suffering. Do the work of an evangelist. Devote yourself completely to your ministry.
Nevertheless, you are doing the right thing if you obey the royal Law in keeping with the Scripture, "You must love your neighbor as yourself."
