Saying to those who are bound, ‘Go forth,’To those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves.’Along the roads they will feed,And their pasture will be on all bare heights.

Behold, all you who kindle a fire,Who encircle yourselves with firebrands,Walk in the light of your fireAnd among the brands you have set ablaze.This you will have from My hand:You will lie down in torment.

Thus says the Lord, “Take heed for yourselves, and do not carry any load on the sabbath day or bring anything in through the gates of Jerusalem.

Only know for certain that if you put me to death, you will bring innocent blood on yourselves, and on this city and on its inhabitants; for truly the Lord has sent me to you to speak all these words in your hearing.”

Thus says the Lord, ‘Do not deceive yourselves, saying, “The Chaldeans will surely go away from us,” for they will not go.

And you have not kept charge of My holy things yourselves, but you have set foreigners to keep charge of My sanctuary.”
