'Abides' in the Bible

“In Leviathan’s neck resides strength,And dismay and terror dance before him.

God will hear and humble them,Even He who sits enthroned from old— Selah.Because in them there has been no change [of heart],And they do not fear God [at all].

Those who trust in and rely on the Lord [with confident expectation]Are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but remains forever.

‘As for the promise which I made with you when you came out of Egypt, My Spirit stands [firm and immovable] and continues with you; do not fear!’
