'Afflicted' in the Bible

He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth; but he that is gracious to the afflicted, happy is he.

All the days of the afflicted are evil; but a cheerful heart is a continual feast.

Rob not the poor, because he is poor, neither oppress the afflicted in the gate;

a generation whose teeth are swords, and their jaw-teeth knives, to devour the afflicted from off the earth, and the needy from among men.
