'Ahead' in the Bible
And many [people] saw them leaving and recognized [them], and ran there together by land from all the towns, and arrived ahead of them.
And immediately he made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he himself dismissed the crowd.
Now they were on the road going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was going on ahead of them. And they were astounded, but those who were following [him] were afraid. And taking aside the twelve again, he began to tell them the things that were about to happen to him:
And those who went ahead and those who were following were shouting, "Hosanna! Blessed [is] the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
But you, watch out! I have told you everything ahead of time!
But after I am raised, I will go ahead of you into Galilee."
But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there, just as he told you."
