'Anger' in the Bible

For their hearts are like an ovenAs they approach their plotting;Their anger smolders all night,In the morning it burns like a flaming fire.

He has rejected your calf, O Samaria, saying,“My anger burns against them!”How long will they be incapable of innocence?

I will not execute My fierce anger;I will not destroy Ephraim again.For I am God and not man, the Holy One in your midst,And I will not come in wrath.

Ephraim has provoked to bitter anger;So his Lord will leave his bloodguilt on himAnd bring back his reproach to him.

I gave you a king in My angerAnd took him away in My wrath.

I will heal their apostasy,I will love them freely,For My anger has turned away from them.
