'Canals' in the Bible

"Who cuts canals for storm floods, and paths for the lightning and thunder,

The canals will stink, and the tributaries of Egypt will dwindle and dry up. Reeds and rushes will wither away.

And on every lofty mountain and every high hill there will be brooks and canals running with water on the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.
