'Covenant' in the Bible

“In that day I will also make a covenant for themWith the beasts of the field,The birds of the skyAnd the creeping things of the ground.And I will abolish the bow, the sword and war from the land,And will make them lie down in safety.

But like Adam they have transgressed the covenant;There they have dealt treacherously against Me.

Put the trumpet to your lips!Like an eagle the enemy comes against the house of the Lord,Because they have transgressed My covenantAnd rebelled against My law.

Ephraim feeds on wind,And pursues the east wind continually;He multiplies lies and violence.Moreover, he makes a covenant with Assyria,And oil is carried to Egypt.
