'Devises' in the Bible

Certainly we must die, and are like water spilled on the ground that cannot be gathered up again. But God does not take away life; instead he devises ways for the banished to be restored.

a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift to run to evil,

The one who winks his eyes devises perverse things, and one who compresses his lips brings about evil.
