'Drunk' in the Bible
“You shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “Drink, be drunk, vomit, fall and rise no more because of the sword which I will send among you.”’
“Make him drunk, for he has become arrogant toward the Lord; so Moab will wallow in his vomit, and he also will become a laughingstock.
Babylon has been a golden cup in the hand of the Lord,Intoxicating all the earth.The nations have drunk of her wine;Therefore the nations are going mad.
