'Egg' in the Bible

“Can something that has no taste to it be eaten without salt?Or is there any flavor in the white of an egg?

They hatch vipers’ eggs and weave the spider’s webs;He who eats of their eggs dies,And from an egg which is crushed a viper breaks out.

Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
