'Faithful' in the Bible

How the faithful city has become a harlot,She who was full of justice!Righteousness once lodged in her,But now murderers.

“Then I will restore your judges as at the first,And your counselors as at the beginning;After that you will be called the city of righteousness,A faithful city.”

And I will take to Myself faithful witnesses for testimony, Uriah the priest and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.”

“Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter,The one that remains faithful.

Thus says the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel and its Holy One,To the despised One,To the One abhorred by the nation,To the Servant of rulers,“Kings will see and arise,Princes will also bow down,Because of the Lord who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen You.”

“Incline your ear and come to Me.Listen, that you may live;And I will make an everlasting covenant with you,According to the faithful mercies shown to David.
