professing to be wise, they were made fools,

we are fools because of Christ, and ye wise in Christ; we are ailing, and ye strong; ye glorious, and we dishonoured;

for gladly do ye bear with the fools -- being wise,

because of this become not fools, but -- understanding what is the will of the Lord,
