A fountain fouled, a spring spoiled, is a righteous man tottering before one who is lawless.

And rivers shall be fouled; the Nile of Egypt will languish and dry up; the reed and the rush shall decay.

“Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him,
‘You compared yourself to a young lion of the nations,
Yet you are like the monster in the seas;
And you burst forth in your rivers
And muddied the waters with your feet
And fouled their rivers.’”

As for My flock (the righteous), they must feed on what you trample with your feet and drink what you muddy with your feet!’”

Doth a bird fall in a snare upon the earth where no fouler is? Taketh a man his snare up from the ground, afore he catch somewhat?
