'Founded' in the Bible
For He has founded it upon the seasAnd established it upon the streams and the rivers.
Who creates the mountains by His strength,Being clothed with power,
The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours;The world and all that is in it, You have founded and established them.
Of old I have known from Your testimoniesThat You have founded them forever.
The Lord by His wisdom has founded the earth;By His understanding He has established the heavens.
“Then what answer will one give the messengers of the [Philistine] nation?That the Lord has founded Zion,And the afflicted of His people will seek and find refuge in it.”
And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.
