'Gathering' in the Bible

And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness they found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day.

And they that found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to the whole assembly.

And he arose and went to Zarephath; and when he came to the entrance of the city, behold, a widow woman was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
