'Generations' in the Bible

And the children of Reuben, Israel's first-born, their generations, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Now these are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that Jehovah spake with Moses in mount Sinai.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your generations shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be on a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto Jehovah.

And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and they shall be to you for a statute for ever throughout your generations.

And these things shall be for a statute and ordinance unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
