'Head' in the Bible

And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we shall be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.

And Joshua turned back at that time, and took Hazor, and smote the king thereof with the sword: for Hazor beforetime was the head of all those kingdoms.

and with him ten princes, one prince of a fathers house for each of the tribes of Israel; and they were every one of them head of their fathers houses among the thousands of Israel.
