'Heritage' in the Bible
God, You have heard my vows;You have given a heritageto those who fear Your name.
He surrendered His people to the swordbecause He was enraged with His heritage.
Lord, they crush Your people;they afflict Your heritage.
The Lord will not forsake His peopleor abandon His heritage,
so that I may enjoy the prosperityof Your chosen ones,rejoice in the joy of Your nation,and boast about Your heritage.
I have Your decrees as a heritage forever;indeed, they are the joy of my heart.
Sons are indeed a heritage from the Lord,children, a reward.
then you will delight yourself in the Lord,and I will make you ride over the heights of the land,and let you enjoy the heritage of your father Jacob.”For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
Why, Yahweh, do You make us stray from Your ways?You harden our hearts so we do not fear You.Return, because of Your servants,the tribes of Your heritage.
