'Honour' in the Bible

And Jesus said to them -- 'A prophet is not without honour, except in his own country, and among his kindred, and in his own house;'

and he answering said to them -- 'Well did Isaiah prophesy concerning you, hypocrites, as it hath been written, This people with the lips doth honour Me, and their heart is far from Me;

for Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, He who is speaking evil of father or mother -- let him die the death;

the commands thou hast known: Thou mayest not commit adultery, Thou mayest do no murder, Thou mayest not steal, Thou mayest not bear false witness, Thou mayest not defraud, Honour thy father and mother.'
