'Hours' in the Bible

Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any one walk in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world;

And it came to pass about three hours afterwards, that his wife, not knowing what had happened, came in.

But, recognising that he was a Jew, there was one cry from all, shouting for about two hours, Great is Artemis of the Ephesians.
