'Humiliation' in the Bible
“For He has looked [with loving care] on the humble state of His maidservant;For behold, from now on all generations will count me blessed and happy and favored by God!
and he who invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this man your place,’ and then, in disgrace you proceed to take the last place.
“In humiliation His judgment was taken away [justice was denied Him].Who will describe His generation?For His life is taken from the earth.”
It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in strength;
who, by exerting that power which enables Him even to subject everything to Himself, will [not only] transform [but completely refashion] our earthly bodies so that they will be like His glorious resurrected body.
