'Illness' in the Bible

After this the son of the woman who owned the house got sick. His illness was so severe he could no longer breathe.

Now Elisha had a terminal illness. King Joash of Israel went down to visit him. He wept before him and said, "My father, my father! The chariot and horsemen of Israel!"

And I cried out, "We are doomed! Our wound is severe! We once thought, 'This is only an illness. And we will be able to bear it!'

But you know it was because of a physical illness that I first proclaimed the gospel to you,

Look! I am throwing her onto a bed of violent illness, and those who commit adultery with her into terrible suffering, unless they repent of her deeds.
