'Listens' in the Bible

The LORD looks on the righteous, and he listens to their cries.

For the LORD listens to the needy and doesn't despise those in bondage.

for he listens to me whenever I call.

"But the person who listens to me will live safely and will be secure from the fear of evil."

Blessed is the person who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my doorways

The lifestyle of the fool is right in his own opinion, but wise is the man who listens to advice.

Poverty and shame are for those who ignore correction, but whoever listens to instruction gains honor.

These people belong to the world. That is why they speak from the world's perspective, and the world listens to them.

We belong to God. The person who knows God listens to us. Whoever does not belong to God does not listen to us. This is how we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.

And this is the confidence that we have in him: if we ask for anything according to his will, he listens to us.

And if we know that he listens to our requests, we can be sure that we have what we ask him for.

Look! I am standing at the door and knocking. If anyone listens to my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he will eat with me.
