'Mother' in the Bible

Though my father and my mother abandoned me, the LORD gathers me up.

I paced about as for my friend or my brother, and fell down mourning as one weeps for one's mother.

Indeed, in iniquity I was brought forth; in sin my mother conceived me.

He makes the barren woman among her household a happy mother of joyful children. Hallelujah!

Instead, I have composed and quieted myself like a weaned child with its mother; I am like a weaned child.
