SHEBy the time the king is in his circle, my nard, will have given out its fragrance:

Thy buddings forth, are a paradise of pomegranates, with precious fruits, - henna bushes, with nard blossoms:

Nard and saffron, sweet cane and cinnamon, with all woods of frankincense, - myrrh and aloes, with all the chiefs of spices:

And while he was in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster cruse of ointment of pure nard very costly; and'she brake the cruse, and poured it over his head.

Mary took a litron of very expensive perfume made of pure nard and anointed Jesus' feet. She wiped his feet with her hair, and the house became filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
