'Oxen' in the Bible
Again he sent other slaves, saying, 'Tell those who have been invited, "Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fattened [cattle] have been slaughtered, and everything [is] ready. Come to the wedding celebration!" '
And another said, 'I have purchased five yoke of oxen, and I am going to examine them. I ask you, consider me excused.'
And he found in the temple [courts] those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers seated.
And he made a whip of cords [and] drove [them] all out of the temple [courts], both the sheep and the oxen, and he poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
For in the law of Moses it is written, "You must not muzzle an ox [while it] is threshing." It is not about oxen God is concerned, is it?
