'Plague' in the Bible

My loved ones and my friends stand aloof from my plague;And my neighbors stand far away.

He leveled a path for His anger [to give it free run];He did not spare their souls from death,But turned over their lives to the plague.

No evil will befall you,Nor will any plague come near your tent.

Thus they provoked Him to anger with their practices,And a plague broke out among them.

Then Phinehas [the priest] stood up and interceded,And so the plague was halted.
