'Portion' in the Bible

Upon the wicked He will rain snares;Fire and brimstone and burning wind will be the portion of their cup.

The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and my cup;You support my lot.

From men with Your hand, O Lord,From men of the world, whose portion is in this life,And whose belly You fill with Your treasure;They are satisfied with children,And leave their abundance to their babes.

God has spoken in His holiness:“I will exult, I will portion out Shechem and measure out the valley of Succoth.

That your foot may shatter them in blood,The tongue of your dogs may have its portion from your enemies.”

My flesh and my heart may fail,But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Saying, “To you I will give the land of CanaanAs the portion of your inheritance,”
