'Possession' in the Bible

‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance,And the very ends of the earth as Your possession.

He gave them also the lands of the nations,That they might take possession of the fruit of the peoples’ labor,

For the Lord has chosen Jacob for Himself,Israel for His own possession.
