'Principles' in the Bible

The rulers do not know nor do they understand;They walk on in the darkness [of complacent satisfaction];All the foundations of the earth [the fundamental principles of the administration of justice] are shaken.

A just balance and [honest] scales are the Lord’s;All the weights of the bag are His concern [established by His eternal principles].

In holiness [being set apart] and righteousness [being upright] before Him all our days.

For though by this time you ought to be teachers [because of the time you have had to learn these truths], you actually need someone to teach you again the elementary principles of God’s word [from the beginning], and you have come to be continually in need of milk, not solid food.
