'Prisoners' in the Bible

God provides homes for those who are deserted.He leads out the prisoners to prosperity,but the rebellious live in a scorched land.

For the Lord listens to the needyand does not despiseHis own who are prisoners.

Let the groans of the prisoners reach You;according to Your great power,preserve those condemned to die.

Others sat in darkness and gloom—prisoners in cruel chains—

executing justice for the exploitedand giving food to the hungry.The Lord frees prisoners.
