'Province' in the Bible

So [after] reading [the letter] and asking what province he was from, and learning that [he was] from Cilicia,

Now [when] Festus set foot in the province, after three days he went up to Jerusalem from Caesarea.

The churches of [the province of] Asia greet you. Aquila and Prisca greet you in the Lord many [times], together with the church in their house.

For we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning our affliction that happened in the [province of] Asia, that we were burdened to an extraordinary degree, beyond [our] strength, so that we were in despair even of living.
